Anxiety Relief & Recovery Retreat is Designed Entirely Around You and Anxiety Management
When anxiety becomes part of everyday life, occasional relaxation is rarely enough. The mind may continue anticipating danger when nothing is happening. The body may remain tense long after a difficult situation has ended.
Sleep, concentration, relationships and ordinary decisions may begin to require disproportionate effort. Even when you intellectually understand that you are safe, the body may continue responding as though something is about to go wrong.
The Private Anxiety Recovery Retreat & Integration Week offers a concentrated, therapeutic process for understanding how anxiety operates within your particular mind and body—and for beginning to develop a more regulated way of responding. We ensure a Private and Uninterrupted Settings, as The Retreat is held entirely one-to-one with your dedicated Yoga Therapist. There is no group, no need to share personal experiences with strangers and no fixed narrative you are expected to follow. You are given the privacy to speak, practise, rest and reflect at your own pace. The process is adjusted throughout all three therapeutic days according to how your body and mind respond.
The retreat follows a deliberately structured therapeutic rhythm:
Two consecutive private retreat days begin the concentrated therapeutic work;
One guided integration week allows you to apply personalised practices and observe your anxiety patterns in everyday life;
The third private therapeutic day, held approximately one week later, allows your therapist to review your experience, refine the practices and support their continued application.
This structure allows the work to move beyond the retreat room. You have time to experience the practices in real situations, recognise what activates your anxiety and return with meaningful observations rather than relying only on how you feel within a protected retreat environment.
There are no generic instructions. Every practice is selected according to your present mental, emotional and physical state. The pace, focus and therapeutic direction remain responsive to you throughout the process.
Your retreat may be experienced at our private studio in Riga, live online from your chosen environment or, subject to availability, with your therapist travelling to you. If the retreat is held in person or with worldwide therapist travel, the first two days are arranged consecutively. The third day is scheduled approximately one week later and may, depending on location and arrangements, be held in person or live online.
Worldwide travel, accommodation and related arrangements are quoted separately and remain subject to location and availability
You Become the Guiding Thread in the Process
Anxiety may look similar from the outside, yet it does not begin, develop or express itself in the same way for every person. This is why your retreat does not begin with a standard anxiety protocol. It begins with you.
Your therapeutic assessment includes an exploration of your individual constitution—your natural physical, mental and emotional tendencies—as well as your present state of imbalance. In Ayurveda, one person’s anxiety may be dominated by movement, uncertainty and fear; another’s by pressure, control and irritability; and another’s by emotional heaviness, attachment or withdrawal. The symptom may be called anxiety, but the mechanism sustaining it can be entirely different.
Constitution alone does not explain anxiety. Life experiences, prolonged stress, relationships, physical health, breathing patterns, sleep, nutrition, habitual thoughts and the nervous system’s learned responses may all contribute. Your constitution provides the starting point for understanding how these influences are most likely to affect you—and why your anxiety takes its particular form.
Throughout the retreat, we observe:
your natural constitution and present imbalance;
how anxiety appears in your body, breath and behaviour;
your characteristic response to uncertainty, pressure and emotional experience;
the practices that calm you and those that may overstimulate you;
your capacity for balance and self-regulation;
the routines and environments that either support or disturb your balance.
These observations guide every part of the retreat. Two people may arrive with the same description of anxiety and receive entirely different therapeutic programmes. Personalisation here is not a choice between several prepared options. It is a continuously adjusted process in which your constitution, present condition, responses and progress determine what happens next.
A Singular Therapeutic Experience
Your therapist draws from classical Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda and Himalayan yogic traditions to approach anxiety as a whole mind–body process.

Personally selected home practices for the integration week;

A third-day practice refinement based on what you experienced during the integration week;
Guidance regarding appropriate next steps
The value of a private retreat lies in selecting the practices that most precisely correspond to your individual condition, constitution and intention, rather than filling the programme with unnecessary activity. Additional practices may therefore be introduced when they better serve your needs.

Much More Than a Temporary Pause from Life
This retreat is not designed simply to remove you from everyday life for three pleasant days. Its purpose is to help you understand what repeatedly activates anxiety and begin changing how your mind and body respond.
The first two days care concentrated hands-on therapeutic work. The guided integration week then places this work into real life, where anxiety patterns actually appear—in relationships, work, decision-making, sleep, uncertainty and everyday responsibilities.
The third therapeutic day allows you to return with practical experience:
What I used and what changed?
Where did the mind resist?
How did the body respond?
What now needs to be adjusted?
Your therapist can then refine the process around evidence from your actual daily life and create third therapeutic day to close the gaps.
The desired result is a more regulated internal state, a deeper understanding of where your anxiety begins, and a personalised set of practices to interrupt anxiety when arises—gradually teaching your nervous system to recognise and return to a state of calm and safety any time, any place. All practices are based exclusively in Yoga Therapy.

Yes. You do not need previous experience in any kind of Yoga or Yoga Therapy.
Every element is selected and adapted to your current physical, emotional and mental state. You only need the willingness to step away from ordinary life and give honest attention to what matters most.

Because for meaningful and sustainable change you need time for integration.
The first two days are held consecutively to create continuity and begin the concentrated therapeutic process.
The third day is intentionally scheduled approximately one week later. During this week, you apply your personal practices in everyday life and observe how your anxiety responds outside the retreat environment.
The third day can then be based on real experience. Your therapist reviews what worked, what remained difficult and what requires adjustment or continued attention. You are guided through all process personally by your Yoga Therapist.

If you want, you can plan a one week holiday for a more mindful integration.
-
Throughout the retreat and guided integration week, you will begin learning:
how anxiety develops across the mind;
how to recognise your early signs of activation;
how breathing can either intensify or regulate anxiety;
how to work with repetitive thoughts without automatically believing or following them;
how to separate external events from your internal response;
how to distinguish intuition from fear;
how to regulate yourself before anxiety develops;
how to respond when anxiety has already become a physical feeling;
how to create a more supportive daily rhythm;
which therapeutic practices are most appropriate for your constitution and current state;
how to stop treating every uncomfortable internal signal as evidence of danger;
how to develop a controlled response;
how to respond to anxiety with knowledge and skill rather than fear of anxiety itself;
how to continue the work independently and when longer-term support may be appropriate.
